Legendary singer Asha Bhosle passed away on Sunday, April 12, at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai at the age of 92. The late singer was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday evening due to a chest infection and exhaustion, her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle said in a post.
On Sunday, her son Anand Bhosle confirmed the news of her demise.Asha Bhosle’s sudden passing away has come as a huge shock to her fans and has left a void in the entertainment industry. Anupamaa actor Sudhanshu Pandey shared pictures with the legendary singer and recalled the time he got to spend with her.He penned down an emotional note for the late singer which read, “Apki goad mein sar rakhkar jab ye tasveer lee thi, tab nahi socha tha ki ye meri sabse anmol dharohar ban jayegi.

Wahan aaiye, aur kal dopahar ko 4 baje Shivaji Park mein unka antim sanskar hoga.” (She passed away today. Those who wish to pay their last respects can visit her residence tomorrow at 11 am.

According to reports, her last rites will take place on Monday.
