Noida: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority has launched a scheme offering 24 industrial plots across multiple sectors to attract investment and boost industrial growth.The plots are located in Ecotech-1 (Extension 1), Ecotech-6, Ecotech-8, Ecotech-10, Ecotech-11 and Sector 16. Officials said the move aims to enhance Greater Noida’s appeal as a manufacturing and logistics hub and leverage the region’s proximity to Noida International Airport.Applicants will be evaluated on parameters including financial strength, net worth and potential for employment generation, with additional weightage for start-ups, export-oriented units, women entrepreneurs, SC/ST applicants and expansion proposals.
Shortlisted applicants will be called for interviews before final allotment.Plot sizes range from around 9,000 square metres to 1 lakh square metres, offering flexibility to both small and large enterprises. The registration amount is 10% of the premium, based on the current industrial rate of Rs 35,000 per sqm.Officials said Ecotech-1 (Extension 1) will have seven plots, while Ecotech-8 will have five plots.
Ecotech-10 will have two plots and Ecotech-11 six plots. Sector 16 will have three plots, and Ecotech-6 will have the largest plot of 1 lakh sqm, estimated to be worth Rs 350 crore.Officials said the plots can be used for industries including agro and food processing, handloom and textiles, electronics manufacturing, semiconductors, electric vehicles, defence and aerospace, data centres, dairy and poultry, and renewable energy.Applicants can apply through the Nivesh Mitra portal or the authority’s website. The scheme was launched on April 11, and the last date to apply is May 12.Allottees can either pay the full premium within 90 days or 40% within 60 days and the balance over four years in half-yearly instalments. Plots will be allotted on a 90-year leasehold basis.
