Xiaomi India has launched Redmi A7 Pro 5G, the first Pro model in the Redmi A Series. The smartphone comes powered by an octa-core 5G processor and is claimed by the company to deliver “a reliable and engaging smartphone experience at an accessible price point”.
Redmi A7 Pro 5G boasts of an AI camera which Xiaomi claims is capable “to capture clearer and more detailed photos across different lighting conditions”. “With HDR support and improved light capture, users can expect balanced and vibrant shots throughout the day,” it added. Redmi A7 Pro 5G comes with a starting price of Rs 12,499. The company has announced a special discount of Rs 1,000 on the phone’s purchase, bringing its effective price to Rs 11,499 (base price).

The Redmi A7 Pro 5G will be available via Amazon India, Mi.com, and offline retail stores across the country. Consumers can avail up to 3 months of No Cost EMI on the purchase along with Rs 1,000 discount as part of introductory offer. The Redmi A7 Pro 5G is offered in three colour options – Black, Mist Blue, and Sunset Orange.The handset is offered in 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variants, with sales starting April 15, 2026.
