Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series launched in India, price starts at Rs 51,999 – The Times of India

Xiaomi India has launched the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series, its first Mini LED television lineup in India. Built on advanced Mini LED technology, the series is claimed to offer a heightened colour depth and clarity to the screen, with richer contrast, balanced brightness, and more detailed visuals.

Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series will be available across mi.com, online platforms, and offline retail stores starting April 22, 2026. Pre-bookings of the TV starts today. The new Xiaomi TV series comes with a starting price of Rs 51,999.Commenting on the launch, Anuj Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Xiaomi India, said, “As screens get larger and access to high-quality content continues to grow, expectations from picture quality also increase.

It is no longer enough to scale size alone, the underlying display technology needs to keep pace. With the Xiaomi Mini LED TVs, the focus is on advancing how the display performs at a fundamental level. Our implementation enables more precise control over backlighting, with better management of brightness and contrast across the panel.

This results in deeper blacks, brighter highlights, and more consistent picture quality, especially on larger screens where uniformity becomes critical.”

At the core of Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series is QD Mini-LED technology, an advanced display architecture that combines Quantum Dot colour with precise Mini LED backlighting. This is claimed to offer finer control over brightness and contrast, even compared to other high-end display technologies.The TVs offer peak brightness of 1200 nits delivering exceptional depth, richer blacks, brighter highlights, and more nuanced detail across varied lighting conditions.

The series integrates Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode, ensuring content is presented as intended by creators. Combined with 4K Ultra HD resolution.To support high-frame-rate content, the TVs feature DLG 120Hz, MEMC, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). The TV series is equipped with a 34W quad-speaker system, tuned with Xiaomi Sound, along with Dolby Audio, DTS:X, and DTS Virtual:X. The series runs on Xiaomi’s latest PatchWall interface, offering intuitive content discovery, free live TV via Xiaomi TV+, and a seamless smart TV experience.

It also offers support for AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Miracast, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
