Colombo: Pakistan are desperate. The three back-to-back losses in the Asia Cup to India and all that followed over the next few months have left the team hungry for revenge.The team took a couple of days’ break after their win against the USA to recharge the batteries and were back at the nets at the Premadasa Stadium on Friday.And during the course of an intense three-hour session, the focus was on Usman Tariq. It doesn’t always happen that a spinner bowls for one and a half hours at the nets with a couple of days to go for a big World Cup game. But Pakistan know the slinger is their trump card. It seemed that the 2022 finalists wanted to prepare their mystery spinner for the onslaught of Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya.
