Oliver Rowland is finally back home in Dubai after travelling across the globe for several weeks. The reigning Formula E champion is now busy overseeing the construction of his new house after returning from Thailand.
Rowland had travelled to Koh Samui in Thailand with his wife Lauren Rowland and their two children, following his trip to South-East Asia after the Madrid E-Prix.
What’s keeping Oliver Rowland busy in Dubai?
Oliver Rowland recently took to his Instagram Stories to confirm his arrival in Dubai. He shared a video of his under-construction house, featuring a spiral staircase leading into the living room, which opens out onto a garden with a swimming pool in front.
He captioned it simply: “Getting there,” hinting that their vision for the home is gradually coming together.He also posted a clip of his wife Lauren hitting a ball with a baseball bat. This was followed by a throwback video of Rowland celebrating with a trophy at a Formula E race.

Rowland had headed to Koh Samui after competing in the Madrid E-Prix and attending his protege Arvid Lindblad’s F1 appearance in Shanghai.
He shared several glimpses from the trip, including moments with his wife Lauren, daughter Harper and son Hennie.
How is Oliver Rowland performing this season?
Oliver Rowland has been in strong form in Formula E this season, securing three podium finishes in six races, although he is yet to take a race win. He started the season with back-to-back podiums, finishing second in Sao Paulo and third in Mexico. However, he failed to score points in the following races in Miami and Jeddah (Part 1). He returned to form in Jeddah (Part 2), claiming another third-place finiHis most recent outing in Madrid did not go as planned, as he finished towards the back of the field in 16th position.As tensions escalated in the Middle East last month, Rowland travelled to Melbourne to support his Arvid Lindblad at his debut Formula 1 race, the Australian Grand Prix, where Lindblad scored points on debut.Rowland still has more than two weeks to oversee his house construction before returning to the track next month.
