Gold ornaments stolen from house at Kadamba plateauPanaji: Unidentified thieves decamped with gold ornaments from a three-storeyed house at Kadamba Plateau.Old Goa PI Gourish Malik said that the incident took place on Sunday night.

He said that house owner Rajiv Arora, in his complaint, did not disclosed the value of the gold ornaments that the thieves took.The theft was committed on the second floor of the bungalow. It came to light when Arora went to the second floor on Monday and saw an open wardrobe and jewellery box lying on the bed.As there was no forceful entry into the bungalow, Malik said that initially the house staff was investigated, but it was clear that they were not involved in the case.Old Goa police are examining CCTV footage to trace the accused in the case. Malik said that they have got a lead and that the accused will soon be identified and traced. An FIR has been registered against unidentified persons.
