Abhira fiercely defends her daughter Maira in court, believing she’s innocent of Meher’s fall. Despite Armaan’s attempts to secure a confession, Abhira intervenes, vowing to fight Maira’s case. Meanwhile, Krish fears repercussions as his connection to Meher is revealed, while Maira maintains her innocence before the juvenile board.
The episode begins with Madhav trying to get Mukti to eat something; however, she refuses and says that she will stay by Abhira’s side, leaving him worried. Kaveri tries to convince her and tells her that she should go and eat something.
She later on gives an update to Manish, telling her that Abhira is still unconscious.
Abhira says that she believes that Maira did not do anything
At home, Maira and Armaan talk about what happened. Maira tells him that Mukti tried to defend her and that she was very brave. She tells him that she did not know what happened and that she did not know when she bumped into Meher, and the latter fell down the stairs. Armaan concludes that Meher had tried to attack Maira and Mukti, and in self-defense, Maira had pushed Meher away, causing her to fall down the stairs.
He tells her that he will take care of everything and asks her to sign a confession. As she is about to, Abhira bursts into the room and takes the confession away. She tells them that she believes that Maira did not do anything and hugs her daughter. Maira tells Armaan that she did not push Meher; however, Armaan refuses to believe her and asks Abhira if she is thinking things through or not. Abhira defends their daughter, leaving her shocked.
Just then, the police come and ask Maira if she is ready to give her statement. Maira thinks about it and finally agrees.While Armaan asks Maira to tell the police that he is her lawyer, she refuses, saying that Abhira will fight her case, leaving both of them shocked. On the other hand, Kaveri, Madhav and Mukti learn that Abhira has gone missing from the hospital.
Krish worries about his connection with Meher
On the other hand, Krish worries that once the police find his number on Meher’s phone, everything for him with the Poddar family will be over.
Tanya confronts him about what has happened and asks him why he is so worried. She finds out that he was the one who sent Maira’s location to Meher, leaving her angry and shocked. The episode comes to an end with Maira giving her statement to the juvenile board and telling them that she did not push Meher, and that the latter fell down on her own as she was trying to attack her. Armaan and Abhira ask the police whether they can take her away, though they refuse and tell them that they can do that only after the judge grants bail.The preview for the next episode shows Maira saying that she believes in Abhira. Armaan also reassures her that she should be the one to fight their daughter’s case.
