Asus rolls out Drop Zone service to 22 more exclusive stores across India

Asus India is gearing up for a massive growth spurt in its laptop repair Drop Zone initiative by adding 22 more exclusive stores throughout various Indian cities. This strategic expansion is designed to make life easier for customers, allowing them to effortlessly drop off their devices at convenient retail spots rather than making a trek to standalone service centers.

Asus India is expanding its Drop Zone initiative to 22 additional exclusive stores, bringing laptop repair drop-off services to more cities without customers needing to hunt down a dedicated service centre.

The Phase 2 rollout covers Delhi NCR, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal—a mix of metro markets and smaller tier-2 and tier-3 cities that often get left behind in after-sales coverage. The concept is straightforward: walk into a participating Asus Exclusive Store, hand over your laptop, and let the store coordinate with the service centre on your behalf.

No extra travel, no guesswork. Customers get a job sheet, repair updates, and collect their device from the same store once it’s ready.Drop Zone started modestly —Delhi, Kolkata, Nagpur, Mumbai, and Coimbatore—before this larger rollout. Asus has been quietly building the backend for this, with over 200 service centres, on-site support across 17,000+ pin codes, and district-level coverage across 761 locations nationwide.

Arnold Su, VP of Consumer and Gaming PC at Asus India, framed it around the company’s 4A framework—Assured Quality, Always-on Support, All-around Coverage, and Added-value Services—which essentially means standardised repairs, 24/7 helpdesk access, and faster turnarounds through better retail-service coordination.Beyond Drop Zones, customers can also opt for carry-in support or on-site technician visits. The MyAsus app and Asus YouTube channels add a self-service layer for those who’d rather troubleshoot independently.More locations are expected as Phase 2 rolls forward.
