Brooke Hogan has recently made candid admissions about her personal relationship with her estranged dad, Hulk Hogan. Brooke shared that she regrets removing herself from Hulk’s will, and it has surfaced months after the passing of the wrestling legend.

Speaking openly, Brooke Hogan did not try to soften the edges of her decision.

Her words come at a time when memories of her father are still close. The grief is personal, but so is the reflection. Brooke is not talking about money or public perception. She is talking about detachments that are now painful to look at.

Brooke Hogan explained that her choice to step away from the will in 2023 came from fear, not conflict over inheritance.

“There were situations that had me so scared,” she said in her appearance on Hollywood Raw Podcast. “I really took myself off the will because I was actually scared for myself, my family, my safety.”At the time, she believed it was the only way to avoid deeper trouble. “There’s not enough money in the world that would matter with what I felt I was facing,” she added. Her concern centered around people in her father’s inner circle, individuals she did not trust and did not want to engage with in a legal or financial fight.

Now, with Hogan gone after suffering cardiac arrest at age 71, the emotional cost has become clearer. “I regret that decision,” Brooke admitted. “Not because of the money — I’ve never been about the money — but because now I don’t have a seat at the table.”That absence has shaped her experience in the months since his death. She described being unable to access information or take part in decisions that followed. “I can’t get answers, I can’t be part of decisions, and that’s the part that hurts,” she said.

It is a different kind of loss, one tied not to grief alone but to missed involvement.

Her decision-making has not been limited to the will. Brooke also chose to stay away from an upcoming Netflix documentary focused on her father’s life, even after being invited to take part.“I was asked, I just didn’t answer,” she said, explaining that past experiences shaped her hesitation. She questioned how the story might be told and whether it would reflect the truth as she lived it. “If you know the patterns of people you’ve known your whole life, I knew this was going to be something everybody jumped on. Another chance to be on TV, another chance to be in the pocket.”That uncertainty led her to step back once again. “I didn’t know if people were going to be honest or how it was going to be painted. I didn’t want to be part of a narrative that I’ve seen change 8 million times,” she added. The pattern is clear. Decisions made for protection have come with their own cost. Certainly, Brooke has not tried to rewrite that story, but the pain of the detachment still lingers.
