Anupama rallies her team to revive Saavi’s cafe, facing initial customer drought and Digvijay’s doubts. Meanwhile, Mahi bravely confronts Vasundhara and Gautam, vowing to build her own brand. Leela and Hasmuk hide their pain, while Anupama’s anxieties about their well-being grow, fueled by a disturbing dream and the looming threat of Paul.
‘Anupamaa’ begins with Anupama lighting a lamp in front of Saavi’s photograph. Digvijay notices her doing this. Anupama waits anxiously for customers to arrive. A customer calls asking about the bakery, and Banku provides the address.
Jaya points out that it is evening and no customers have come yet. Anupama gives everyone a speech about lighting a candle to remove darkness. She asks Banku, Digvijay, and Bose to light candles with her. Anupama tells everyone to be patient and assures them that the cafe will survive even if customers do not come today.Digvijay remembers that the cafe used to be packed with customers who would wait for hours. He recalls how Saavi made every customer feel special, even when they had to wait.
Digvijay says now, instead of customers waiting for them, they are waiting for customers. He feels that he made a mistake by reopening the cafe. Jaya asks Anupama if Digvijay has lost faith in the cafe. Anupama says he is just upset right now. Anupama comes up with a plan to promote the cafe.
Mahi stands up for herself
Vasundhara decides to throw Mahi out of the house. Mahi defends herself, saying she didn’t steal their designs but only used the ones the Kotharis had rejected.
Gautam manipulates Vasundhara against Mahi. Vasundhara decides to throw Mahi out of the company. Rahi questions on what grounds this is happening. Rahi takes a strong stand for Mahi. Mahi challenges Vasundhara and Gautam, telling them that one day she will build her own brand.
She asks Gautam to prepare for a divorce. Rahi also warns Gautam to prepare for losing custody of Pranshi. Gautam tells Vasundhara that they have to take action against Rahi and Mahi because they are standing together now.
Anupama and Banku promote the cafe
Anupama and Banku paste handmade posters all around promoting Saavi’s cafe. She asks a random girl to share their poster on social media. Meanwhile, Leela cries because of pain in her foot. She pretends everything is fine in front of Hasmuk. Hasmuk also hides his own pain. Ansh asks Hasmuk if he went to a nearby area. Hasmuk denies it. Hasmuk asks Leela to bring food. Leela falls because of her ankle pain. Ansh rushes to help her.
Hasmuk questions what Leela was doing. Both Leela and Hasmuk lie to each other about what they are doing.Digvijay sees the poster and smiles for the first time. Banku asks Anupama if she is sure customers will come after seeing the poster. Anupama says she will not lose hope. Later, Anupama has a bad dream where she sees Pakhi and Paritosh ill-treating Leela and Hasmuk. She is concerned and calls to see them, and then shares her fear.
She also asks them not to hide anything from her. Hasmuk and Leela assure her that everything is fine.
But Anupama refuses to believe Hasmuk is telling the truth. Leela feels guilty for lying to Anupama. Hasmuk and Leela secretly leave one after the other to go to work without telling each other.
Waiting and worrying
Anupama waits for customers to arrive at the café. Banku asks her what if no customers come. He also worries that Paul might interfere with their business. Anupama recalls Paul. He is the one who threatens not to allow anyone to conduct business in his locality.
