The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam city intimation slip for the Constable (GD) recruitment examination 2026 today, April 19, 2026. What is the exam city intimation slip?
The exam city slip tells candidates where their exam centre will be located (city only). It does not include full exam centre details or the exact address. This is released in advance so candidates can plan their travel and stay arrangements.

The SSC has clarified that the admission certificate (admit card) will be released 2–3 days before the exam date. This document will contain complete details such as exact exam centre address, and reporting time.

SSC GD 2026 exam schedule
As per the earlier notification, the SSC GD exam will be conducted in multiple phases between April 27 and May 30, 2026 across the country.
The exam will be held in four windows:
- April 27 to May 2, 2026
- May 4 to May 9, 2026
- May 18 to May 23, 2026
- May 25 to May 30, 2026
