Roman Reigns made his message clear moments after reclaiming the spotlight at WrestleMania 42. Fresh off his victory over CM Punk, the new World Heavyweight Champion addressed the criticism that has followed him for years.Inside Allegiant Stadium, the reaction was loud, but it shifted quickly once Reigns spoke. Reigns looked ahead, spoke directly to the fans, and hinted at a change that could reshape his presence moving forward. He will be around this summer, not as a part-timer.

Roman Reigns teases major scheduling development after defeating CM Punk

Roman Reigns earned the title the hard way. His match with Punk stretched both men physically, with momentum swinging back and forth until Reigns found his opening and closed it with two decisive Spears. Later, speaking on the WrestleMania post-show, Reigns addressed the long-standing narrative around his limited appearances. “I’m gonna take y’all to Monday Night Raw tomorrow night. I’ll see y’all tomorrow night. That’s where we’ll see y’all, alright? All this part-time crap, we’re gonna fix that. Y’all better make some room, because y’all gonna see my a*s all summer.”

Of course, for years, Reigns has balanced dominance with selective appearances.

Now, he is signaling something different. A full summer schedule suggests a champion ready to stay present, not just show up for major events. If that holds, it could shift how WWE builds its top storylines in the coming months, and certainly, fans can expect more matches.

Roman Reigns calls out Oba Femi

Reigns didn’t stop there. As chants of “Oba’s gonna kill you!” echoed during his appearance, he turned toward the noise instead of brushing it off.

The response came quickly and with intent.“Oba, you’re gonna kill me? See, you still seem a little fresh in this business.”

He acknowledged Femi’s massive win over Brock Lesnar earlier in the night but made it clear that one performance does not define a career. “You did a big thing tonight, but I’ve done that many times, and I’ve done it with a title on the line. I took it, I defended it. Let’s see how you do through the summer, and then we’ll see if you can step up to the greatest of all time.”Reigns is not closing the door on Femi, but he is setting the terms. It appears that WWE is giving soft signals to the upcoming rivalry as Femi is getting a wide reception from fans. After defeating one of the greatest legends in the promotion, it only makes sense for Femi to chase the top face in the business. And Reigns appears to be the perfect choice.
