The San Francisco 49ers showed a lot of improvement on the field in the last season with 12 wins and 5 losses, as compared to the 2024 season, when the team recorded just 6 wins and 11 losses.Though the San Francisco 49ers ended up losing in the Divisional Round against the Seattle Seahawks in 2025, it seems the team is focused on bouncing back on the field in the next few months.
San Francisco 49ers are linked to Buffalo Bills ’ wide receiver, Keon Coleman , amid his disappointing performance
A few hours ago, Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay predicted that the San Francisco 49ers could be making a move for the Buffalo Bills’ star player, Keon Coleman.
Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay noted in a recent report, “There’s a real possibility that the 2024 second-rounder could be on the move ahead of his third NFL season. If Coleman is available, the San Francisco 49ers should come calling…”Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay added, “San Francisco would be wise to add an insurance and developmental option to the mix.”Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay continued, “While Coleman has been sidelined for stretches with injuries of his own, he’s an ideal buy-low player who head coach Kyle Shanahan can rehabilitate within his high-octane offense.”However, the San Francisco 49ers have maintained their distance from addressing trade rumors about Keon Coleman for now.Over the last few weeks, there have been many speculations about Keon Coleman’s future with the Buffalo Bills being in “jeopardy” owing to the team’s owner, Terry Pegula’s controversial comments about him.
For the unversed, in January, at a press conference as the team’s general manager, Brandon Beane was questioned about the quality of wide receivers, Terry Pegula interrupted him to say, “I’ll address the Keon situation. The coaching staff pushed to draft Keon…”The Buffalo Bills’ billionaire owner added, I’m not saying Brandon wouldn’t have drafted him, but [Coleman] wasn’t his next choice. That was Brandon being a team player and taking advice of his coaching staff who felt strongly about the player.”This has convinced many that the Buffalo Bills are looking to trade Keon Coleman even as he remained silent about the controversial remarks. In the last season, Keon Coleman struggled on the field even as many were expecting an impressive performance from him.The 23 year old wide receiver recorded 38 receptions for 404 yards and 4 touchdowns in 13 games. As many complained about his inconsistency and a slight dip in performance since 2024, all eyes are on what Keon Coleman chooses to do next in the new season.
