Amir Hamza had just left the office of Pakistani channel News 24 in Lahore on April 16 after speaking in a religious show in which he appeared often. That’s when two bikers, presumably locals aware of the area’s layout, fired multiple shots at his car near a bus stop before fleeing.
The 67-year-old was rushed to a local hospital with just a gunshot injury to his shoulder and survived. However, reports were mixed on his condition, with some reports claiming he was in critical condition.
