Bangladesh 131/3 in 29.4 Overs | BAN vs NZ, 3rd ODI Live Score: Najmul, Litton steady Bangladesh after William O’Rourke’s triple-strike – The Times of India

Date:

BAN vs NZ, 3rd ODI Live Score: Tom Latham called correctly at the toss and opted to bowl as New Zealand took on Bangladesh in the series-deciding third ODI on Thursday.

The three-match contest is finely poised at 1-1. Bangladesh had suffered a 26-run defeat in the opener but bounced back impressively in the second game, securing a six-wicket win thanks largely to a five-wicket haul from pace sensation Nahid Rana.

For the decider, the hosts made two changes to their playing XI. Experienced seamer Mustafizur Rahman and left-arm spinner Tanvir Islam came into the side, replacing Taskin Ahmed and Rishad Hossain.

New Zealand, meanwhile, made a solitary change as they look to clinch back-to-back ODI series wins in Bangladesh. Left-arm pacer Ben Lister was brought in for Blair Tickner.

With both teams having shared a win each, the stage is set for a high-stakes decider.

Bangladesh: Saif Hassan, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Soumya Sarkar, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Liton Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraz (captain), Tanvir Islam, Shoriful Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Nahid Rana.

New Zealand: Henry Nicholls, Nick Kelly, Will Young, Tom Latham (captain), Muhammad Abbas, Dean Foxcroft, Josh Clarkson, Nathan Smith, Jayden Lennox, William ORourke, Ben Lister.
