In a shocking twist during a robbery gone wrong in Deoghar, a gang of criminals mistakenly shot one of their own during a chaotic attempt to hijack a delivery truck. The unfortunate accomplice succumbed to his wounds shortly after arriving at the hospital. As chaos ensued, the remaining members of the group fled the scene, leaving their injured ally behind.
Dumka: A group of criminals accidentally shot one of their accomplices while robbing a goods vehicle in Deoghar late on Thursday. The man later succumbed during treatment at the district sadar hospital.

Four miscreants arrived in an SUV bearing an MP registration number to loot a goods vehicle carrying refrigerators of a soft drink company. The accused allegedly intercepted the vehicle and began assaulting the driver while attempting the robbery.During this, one of the assailants opened fire, but the bullet mistakenly hit his own gang member, leaving him critically injured. Panic-stricken, the other criminals rushed the injured to Deoghar Sadar Hospital and then fled after abandoning him there.The deceased, identified as Rajan Kumar Lal (32), is the son of an RTI activist.Police on Friday detained a youth, who had come to the hospital later to see Lal. The goods vehicle driver, Mohammad Manzoor, has also been detained for questioning.
