New Delhi: A 35-year-old man was critically injured after being shot at in central Delhi’s Karol Bagh in the early hours of Thursday, police said..The victim was identified as Rohit, a resident of Than Singh Nagar in Anand Parbat.
He has a 2019 murder case registered against him. Rohit is currently under medical observation and is stated to be in critical condition.
He has, however, provided preliminary details about the suspected assailants, which are being verified.Two empty cartridges and one live round were recovered from the crime scene.Police said a case under section 109 (attempt to murder) of BNS and sections of the arms act has been registered.In another incident, a man was injured after his friends attacked him with a knife in east Delhi’s Krishna Nagar area on Thursday. Police said, the victim , Nazeem said that a few of his friends attacked him with a sharp weapon following a quarrel and then escaped from the spot. A case of attempted murder has been registered.
