‘KD: The Devil’ trailer pulled after certification issue; makers promise revised version soonDhruva Sarja, removed the trailer just one day after posting it on YouTube. This surprised many fans who had just started watching and sharing it online.

The team quickly shared a message to explain why this happened.

What the makers said

The production house KVN Productions gave a clear statement. They said, “The trailer of KD: The Devil recently released on YouTube inadvertently included certain uncertified content during the certification process. We have therefore taken down the trailer and will be uploading a revised version shortly, in compliance with the certification guidelines.

We sincerely regret this oversight and remain fully committed to adhering to all certification norms.

Earlier song controversy

Before this, the film was already in the news because of a song. The Hindi version of ‘Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke,’ featuring Sanjay Dutt and Nora Fatehi, also faced trouble. The song was removed from YouTube after the National Commission for Women sent notices. Additionally, Nora shared that she did not understand the meaning while dancing.

Singer Mangli said a new version with changed lyrics is being made. The production house has had a couple of tough days and also faced criticism for bold content in another film, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’, linked to Yash. At the same time, ‘Jana Nayagan’ starring Vijay had its own problems with delays and leaks after CBFC checks. Despite this, they also seem to be backing the upcoming high-budget Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli film.
