Stefon Diggs, the former New England Patriots’ wide receiver, and Cardi B sparked romance rumors a few days ago after they had a dramatic split in February.While both of them stay silent about their relationship, it seems the Grammy winner Cardi B has now been dragged into Stefon Diggs’ legal mess.
Cardi B gets dragged into the mess between Stefon Diggs and the man who accused him of sexual harassment
A few hours ago, as per US Sun, as Stefon Diggs filed a defamation sued against social media personality Christopher Griffith, who has in turn accused him of sexual harassment, Griffith has now brought in Cardi B into the mess.
A court filing made by social media personality Christopher Griffith reads as, “There is a significant unresolved question as to whether Mr. Diggs’s claimed emotional distress was caused by sources other than Mr. Griffith’s posts on Instagram…”Interestingly, social media personality Christopher Griffith has now shifted the blame to Stefon Diggs’ girlfriend, Cardi B, for allegedly being a reason behind his “emotional distress”.The court filing made by social media personality Christopher Griffith added, “During the period in question, Mr. Diggs very publicly started and ended a relationship with the musical artist Cardi B, with Mr. Diggs painted as a villain in the tabloid press…”As per the US Sun, the court filing added, “Mr. Diggs was captured on video distributing an unidentified crystalline substance to women partying with him on a yacht, again widely disseminated by the tabloid press; and his performance as an NFL wide receiver declined materially…”However, neither the former New England Patriots’ wide receiver Stefon Diggs, nor Cardi B has responded to the claims made in the new court filing about their relationship.
Stefon Diggs remains a free agent as Cardi B stays distant
While Stefon Diggs is fighting a legal battle against social media personality Christopher Griffith, he has also continued to be legally involved with his ex chef after she accused him of physical violence.The next scheduled hearing is set to be for the early weeks of May as Stefon Diggs claims innocence and reiterates that he has been “trapped”.Amid this, he remains as a free agent ahead of the new season as rival teams continue to be rumored to be eyeing him.
