Actor Vishal has officially shared an exciting update about his upcoming film ‘Magudam.’ The project has been making headlines ever since Vishal took over as director, stepping in after filmmaker Ravi Arasu exited due to creative differences.
Now, Vishal is both directing and acting in the film, adding to fan curiosity. The movie features a strong cast including Dushara Vijayan, Anjali, and Yogi Babu. The team has promised a gripping mix of action and emotion, making it one of Vishal’s most ambitious projects.
‘Magudam’ Kakinada schedule wrap brings the team back to Chennai
Sharing an update on social media, Vishal revealed that the team completed a tough two-week shooting schedule in Kakinada. He posted a photo with the crew from a flight, confirming their return to Chennai.
Vishal thanked his entire team, especially cinematographer Abhinandan Ramanujam and choreographer Brinda Master, for their dedication. Also, he appreciated the directors and crew who facilitated filming despite the difficulties he experienced.

In his statement, Vishal paid his respects especially to his co-stars and team members. He expressed his appreciation for his co-star, Anjali, who maintained simplicity and professionalism throughout and was really pleasant to work with.
Vishal did not forget to appreciate the female artists who worked tirelessly despite the harsh weather. He also shared a personal note, thanking his partner, Sai Dhanshika, for standing by him during the shoot, especially when he was unwell but continued working.
‘Magudam’ enters final phase; first single to release soon
Vishal confirmed that one of the most challenging parts of the film, set in the 1990s, has now been completed. With this, ‘Magudam’ has entered its final shooting phase, which will continue in Chennai. The film’s music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Vishal also teased that the first single from the film will be released soon, raising expectations. All signs point to ‘Magudam’ being ready for a premiere soon.
