The actor attended a recent high-profile event and this marks his return to public view amid the ongoing investigation.
The controversy began on February 10 when he approached the Mumbai Police after receiving the audio message.

Details of the threat and its urgency
The threat message followed another serious incident. After the firing at filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s home, Ranveer Singh allegedly received an audio warning. The message claimed that his “entire staff” would be killed if demands were not met, while also asking for Rs 10 crore as ransom. Reportedly, during the initial investigation, the voice in the message is suspected to be that of Lawrence Bishnoi’s close associate, Hari Chand, also known as Harry Boxer. Police officials are verifying the authenticity of the message and the identity of the caller.
