DNA recovered from a single glove found near her Tucson, Arizona home appears to match the distinctive gloves worn by a masked suspect caught on her doorbell camera the night she vanished. This revelation, announced over the weekend, offers the first tangible link between physical evidence and the shadowy figure who approached her door.

The glove turned up in a field about two miles from Nancy’s residence, along a roadway where search teams had established a checkpoint.
Out of roughly 16 gloves gathered in the vicinity, most discarded by volunteers scouring the desert terrain, this one stood apart. “The DNA profile recovered is distinct and appears to align with the gloves worn by the individual in the surveillance footage,” the FBI stated clearly.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos added that priority samples are processing at a Florida lab, with full verification possibly just a day away.
