Singapore's Optimum solutions, Japan's ABeam open joint GCC in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Singapore-based Optimum Solutions and Japan-based ABeam Consulting have opened their jointly operated global capability centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, with an eye on building a 2,000-employee workforce by 2030 and expanding delivery capacity for global digital transformation programmes. The two companies said the GCC will operate under joint governance with integrated teams, enabling end-to-end transformation delivery from a single location, Telangana govt said in a release. The new centre will focus on AI, cloud services, data engineering, enterprise platforms, application engineering, digital solutions and business operations. Nanda Appanaboyina, general manager of the GCC, said Hyderabad’s engineering talent is suited for complex work and will help the centre build advanced capabilities in AI, cloud and digital platforms.

He added that interest from Japanese multinationals is growing. Yasuhisa Omura, Head of ABeam India, said the Hyderabad base will strengthen the firm’s ability to deliver enterprise transformation at scale by combining consulting expertise with execution. The companies said Hyderabad was selected for its engineering talent, stable governance and digital infrastructure, and that hiring will be supported by partnerships with universities and skilling institutions for training, curriculum collaboration and certifications.

The GCC strengthens the Japan–Singapore–India technology link and reinforces Hyderabad’s position as a trusted hub for high-value, enterprise-focused digital transformation for companies worldwide, Telangana govt officials said.
