गौलापार। चोरगलिया, गौलापार, किशनपुर, लालकुआं, हल्दूचौड़ और मोटाहल्दू क्षेत्र के किसानों ने आंधी से हुई फसल की क्षति के लिए जिलाधिकारी के माध्यम से मुख्यमंत्री के नाम ज्ञापन भेजा। उन्होंने कहा कि 15 मार्च की रात आए तूफान से गेहूं सहित अन्य फसलों को लगभग 70 प्रतिशत तक नुकसान हुआ है। कटाई के लिए तैयार खड़ी फसल पूरी तरह बर्बाद हो गई है जिससे किसानों की आर्थिक स्थिति प्रभावित हुई है। उन्होंने जल्द सर्वे कर 15 दिनों के भीतर उचित मुआवजा देने की मांग की।
