A few weeks ago, in a heartfelt interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the “Locket” artist, Madison Beer, opened up about the negative impact of fame since she has been popular from a pretty young age.
Madison Beer said, “I cringe at most of my life that’s out there. I look back, and I’m like, “Jesus Christ.” But then also, I was a f***ing kid. I try not to be too hard on myself.”The popular pop star added, “Whether it’s memes of me that go around… I used to get… I don’t know, I guess it was embarrassment, and just feeling bullied.”
The “All Day and Night” artist continued, “Obviously, no one wants to feel like people are laughing at them, but when I was younger, I would be mad at myself.The 26 year old pop star might have millions to her name and is arguably one of the most popular pop stars in recent times, but Madison Beer has experienced a lot of trauma and pain in her young life.Over the last few years, Madison Beer has been pretty public about how when her first album flopped, her record label and lawyers dropped her overnight and she had to start from scratch.
To make matters worse, when she was only 14 years old, some of her intimate pictures were leaked by a boy she liked at school.This caused Madison Beer immense pain and heartbreak as she has also spoken about how she struggled with her mental health issues and suicidal thoughts for a pretty long time in her life.
