Anupama finds a new job through a pamphlet picked up by a resentful Digvijay. Jaya accidentally finds Saavi’s diary, revealing Saavi’s admiration for Anupama’s cooking. The show opens on a tense note as Anupama checks on Digvijay, who is clearly not himself. When she invites him to take the aarti, he refuses coldly, telling her to pray silently next time so his peace is not disturbed.
Anupama reads the pain beneath his anger and understands this is a man who has lost his faith entirely. The mood lifts briefly when Banku pulls her into celebrating Gudi Padva, asking what his mother cooks for him on the occasion. Saavi knew Anupama before Anupama knew Saavi
Anupama returns home dancing with the news of her job, and Banku joins in joyfully, but the celebration freezes the moment Digvijay walks in. The real moment arrives when Anupama spots Saavi’s diary in Jaya’s hands. She presses Jaya for an answer and learns the child was drawn in by butterflies on the cover.
Reading through the pages, Anupama discovers something that stops her completely. Saavi used to watch her recipes, dreamed of cooking like her, and had hoped one day to serve food to Anupama herself.
Anupama is overwhelmed, realising she had a bond with Saavi long before she ever knew her name, and that she arrived too late to meet the girl who admired her from a distance. She also understands now why Digvijay always recognised the taste of her food.Jaya apologises, but Anupama tells her sorry is not enough every time. She takes the diary and gives it to Digvijay herself. He is visibly shaken seeing it and confronts Anupama, who calmly explains that Jaya had it and returns it with an apology.Precap: Anupama says her life is like a computer that keeps restarting.
