The copy of the text obtained by People says, “You have made some terrible decisions, but God has already forgiven you if you have asked him.” Telling his son that it’s “fine to pray that God would have mercy on you,” the 60-year-old sternly added, “but you’re probably gonna face major consequences for several years to come.”However, Joseph Duggar’s father adopted a grave tone in one part of the email and wrote, “Mom & I love you very much! You have a long road ahead of you.”
Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar are heartbroken
Jim Bob was with his son on March 31 as he made his first appearance in a Florida courtroom on the charges of sexually abusing a 9-year-old child in 2020, and was then released on a USD 600,000 bond.
