As Noina’s poignant wish for Tulsi’s gathbandhan unfolds, it ignites a whirlwind of family conflict. Indira confronts old grievances, and Ajay is caught in a tug-of-war with his family’s marriage plans. Meanwhile, the revelations from a factory surprise everyone and expose Vrinda’s uncertainties, while Angad’s bold move leads Bharti to confess her love in the most unexpected moment.
‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ opens with Noina asking Tulsi to fulfil her last wish by performing her gathbandhan. Suchi tells Noina that her requested song is about to play and calls her.
Meanwhile, Noina dances slowly with Mihir as the romantic song plays. The family watches with barely concealed discomfort, holding themselves together out of respect for Tulsi. Mihir is visibly detached throughout, but Noina holds his hand and stays close. The moment is cut short when Noina’s head begins to spin, and she collapses. Everyone rushes to her.
Indira draws her line
Pari sits down with Indira and tells her the whole truth about everything that happened.
Indira listens and feels genuinely sorry for Pari and Tulsi. She apologizes to Pari for the misunderstanding and admits she has not changed as much as she should have. Pari insists she stay, but Indira leaves. Ajay apologizes to Pari on his mother’s behalf and pulls her into his arms to console her. Pari feels shy and slips away inside.The discussion with the family is more difficult. Ajay is informed by his father that he has been proposed to marry Vandana and requests that he meet her.
Ajay explains to his father that he should not make decisions on his behalf without his consultation. His parents resist. Indira reminds Ajay about how Pari took their family to jail, how Priya’s marriage failed due to her and how their reputation had not been regained.
She informs Ajay that it was Tulsi who rescued them, yes, but that is no excuse to forget about what Pari did. That is the last word she says: when Pari comes into this house, Indira will not be there.
She pleads with Ajay to forget Pari. Ajay is torn apart. He tells his sister quietly that Pari has changed and would make their family happy. His sister holds him as he falls apart.
The family gathers
Tulsi asks Noina to sit and rest while the guests are greeted. Suchi stays close. Dev arrives with Saloni, fresh from their honeymoon. Pari tells Saloni she looks wonderful. Saloni says no one can match Tulsi kaki. Ritik asks everyone to let the past go.
Parth tells Dev he has missed him. Dev agrees, but Saloni gently reminds him about their expenses. Munni goes to make tea, and Saloni joins her.Noina, resting now, asks Tulsi again to perform the gathbandhan. Tulsi agrees. She is ready to fulfil this last wish. Noina tells Tulsi she is exceptional and no one will ever forget what she has done. Tulsi tells her to rest and not leave the room.
Thakur discovers the truth about Vrinda
At the Virani factory, Thakur has been digging for information about Vrinda and discovers she is Mihir Virani’s daughter.
The realization gives him something to work with. Vrinda, unaware of this, notices that Angad has quietly changed her social media profile to protect her identity and is quietly proud of him.
Angad’s feelings give Bharti the wrong signal
Angad thanks Vrinda warmly, telling her she saved him from humiliation. Thakur questions what Vrinda did, and Angad answers without telling anything. Vrinda hands Angad a gift for Madhavi before he leaves. He initially declines, but she insists that she can see the amount of care he has for his family.
The employees also make their contribution, as Thakur and Ramesh also hand over money to Angad. He tells them all to work hard, and they will see a bonus.Bharti asks Angad why Vrinda is lying to cover for him. He tells her to drop it, that Vrinda is helping him and is nothing like Bharti suggests. Kajri quietly tells Nandu that Bharti is in love with Angad and will never agree to marry Mangal, whose engagement with Bharti Dada has already been arranged.
Nandu wants to inform Dada, but Kajri tells him to stay out of it.Angad is walking Bharti to her home on the way back. He saves her when she is involved in a road accident. Bharti reaches for his hand. She questions him on love and whether anybody loves him. Angad starts speaking about a special person and describes her features with a smile that deceives all. Bharti hears and gets increasingly convinced that he is addressing her. She reaches out and takes his hand and tells him that she loves him.
