When Naseem Mughal aka Lulli Dakait REACTED to Dhruv Rathee calling 'Dhurandhar' propaganda, saying, 'Toofan ko rok nahi sakte'

In a spirited defense, Naseem Mughal, the face of Lulli Dakait in ‘Dhurandhar’, addressed Dhruv Rathee’s allegations labeling the film as ‘propaganda’. Mughal confidently remarked that such critiques cannot hinder the film’s thriving success. The franchise, now including ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, has marked its territory at the box office with a staggering global total of over Rs 1500 crore. Read on to know more in detail.

Naseem Mughal, who played the role of Lulli Dakait in ‘Dhurandhar’, had shared his opinion on the film being labeled as propaganda. Dhruv Rathee had called out the first film when it was out in theaters.

Now, a video of Naseem from his December 2025 interview has resurfaced and is going viral on the internet, in which he can be seen addressing the same.

Naseem Mughal on ‘Dhurandhar’ being labeled as ‘propaganda’

In an interview with Filmygyan, Naseem Mughal had expressed, “Dhruv ke kehne se woh propaganda hoti hai toh ho. Propaganda agar kisiko kehna hai film ke baare mein toh kaho. Aapko jo kehna hai aap kaho. Lekin aap toofan ko toh rok nahi sakte, toofan toh chal hi raha hai (If, according to Dhruv, it is propaganda, then so be it.

If someone wants to call the film propaganda, they are free to do so—say whatever you want. But you cannot stop a storm; the storm is already in motion).

The actor had said this in his interview in December last year after the release of ‘Dhurandhar’. However, the clip has resurfaced on the internet and has taken over social media.
