with a “poisonous snake”, and said that the statement reflects the Congress’s long-standing politics of appeasement and division.In a post on X, Singh said the remark was “not a slip” but indicative of a deeper political approach. He accused the Congress of pursuing policies that prioritised vote-bank considerations over uniform governance.Referring to the Shah Bano case, he alleged that the Congress govt overturned the Supreme Court’s decision to appease a section of voters. He also cited concerns related to the Waqf Act, claiming it enabled extensive land control with limited accountability.Singh mentioned the draft Communal Violence Bill of 2011 and criticised the party’s opposition to the
