As Anupama embarks on her journey as a restaurant inspector at Prem’s establishment, an enigmatic figure surfaces with ominous foresight, warning her of a potential calamity. Concurrently, Digvijay is ensnared by his deep-seated insecurities around loss, while Paritosh faces the consequences of his overzealous plotting.
The latest episode of ‘Anupamaa’ kicks off with Anupama calling Banku to let him know she’s reached safely. Banku, clearly emotional, admits he’s missing everyone terribly and wants nothing more than to come see them, but then who’ll look after Digvijay? Anupama gets it completely.
Neither can Digvijay manage without Banku, nor will Banku ever walk away from his duties. Banku then asks whether Jaya has settled in well, and Anupama reassures him that Jaya seems much more at ease there. He asks her to call if Jaya starts missing him.Meanwhile, Paritosh is busy grilling Pakhi about who this “Banku” even is. Pakhi, unbothered, says until Banku actually shows up, why should they care? Paritosh, however, can’t stop thinking about Jaya.
Pakhi throws in her suspicion that Anupama was up to something in Goa. Paritosh agrees without missing a beat, adding that now that Anupama’s back, she’ll stir things up here too.
Destiny hands Anupama a file she never expected
Rahi arrives with little Pranshi in tow, and Anupama lights up instantly. Ansh is equally thrilled to see Pranshi. Anupama asks Rahi about Pari, and Rahi casually mentions that Pari is tied up with things. Anupama fills her in on the new job and also suggests, quite firmly, that Prem should have Vasundhara inaugurate his restaurant.
Rahi pushes back. Prem wants Anupama to do the honours. Anupama says she respects that, but Vasundhara has every right to that moment.
Just as the conversation picks up, Hasmuk walks in and interrupts and right then, Anupama’s phone rings. It’s from work.The manager on the line explains that his company handles food and hygiene inspections. He warmly thanks Anupama for coming on board and tells her that if things go smoothly, she’s looking at a permanent position.
He then hands over Prem’s restaurant file to Anupama. She, completely oblivious to the connection, is just excited about her new role.
Over at the Kotharis
Prem is a bundle of nerves ahead of the restaurant opening. Anil promises double blessings, Khyati covers for Parag, and Rahi reassures Prem that Anupama’s back now. Vasundhara, however, is far from settled. She’s convinced Anupama brings bad luck and declares it plainly. If anything goes wrong with Prem’s restaurant, she won’t spare her.The inspection begins. Kartik and Mukesh join Anupama on the job. Mukesh wastes no time laying down the ground rules: no favouritism, work by the book. And then, out of nowhere, a stranger appears and pulls Anupama aside. He warns her not to go in there, or her downfall will begin. Anupama is visibly shaken. The people around dismiss the man as unstable, but the unease lingers. Rahi, Prem, and Prerna are waiting on the other side, completely unaware of who’s walking in.
Anupama steels herself, but the nerves are real.Back in Goa, Bose wastes no time poking at Digvijay. He asks if Digvijay is enjoying the peace now that Anupama and Jaya are gone. Digvijay, interestingly, says Anupama may well return; she’s left something valuable behind. Bose, sharp as ever, points out that even if they return, they won’t be coming back to Digvijay. That lands hard. Digvijay then quietly admits something painful: he can’t bring himself to love Jaya because he’s terrified she’ll leave him, too.
Just as the moment deepens, Ranvijay calls. Digvijay reveals he’s asked Ranvijay to come stay with him. Bose raises an eyebrow. He warns Digvijay that Ranvijay will throw him right out of his own house.Elsewhere, Gautam and Paritosh are at it. Gautam demands to know when Paritosh is going to throw Mahi out. Paritosh, ever the schemer, tries to sweeten the conversation with an investment offer. Gautam flat-out refuses.
A girl then shows up to meet Gautam, and just like that, Paritosh is left standing there, alone. There’s a flash of vulnerability before that familiar unease about Anupama back in.
Rahi peeks in
The inspection wraps up. Rahi, curious about who’s been inspecting, peeks in to check. And she stops dead in her tracks. It’s Anupama. Her face breaks into excitement. Prem and Prerna are equally overjoyed when they find out. But Anupama? She just stands there, completely stunned, the weight of it all sinking in.
