India’s favourite kitchen gets a full Punjabi makeover this weekend as ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’ brings in Baisakhi festivities. The celebration kicks off with a dholak entry that sets the tone: loud, joyful, and electric, before the cast dives into a round of Punjabi boliya that is folk tradition disguised as a roast session.
What starts as festive banter spirals into everyone trying to out-shade each other, with the room erupting into laughter every few seconds. And just when things couldn’t get any more festive, Billo Ji arrives with her family to the beats of Aaj Na Chodungi Tujhe, sending the already chaotic kitchen into full celebration mode. The cooking segment brings a delightful twist to close out the fun, with the cast attempting to shape Gur Pare like kites – a challenge that proves harder than it looks.Sudesh Lehri shares, “Baisakhi has always been very close to my heart. It marks new beginnings, celebrates hard work, and honours the spirit of abundance that comes from unity. This year, Baisakhi became even more special because my family joined my Laughter Chefs family; so, the joy multiplied! I wish for this festival to bring good health, success and endless happiness to everyone watching – may every home overflow with warmth and every kitchen with flavours of a bountiful harvest.
Baisakhi di lakh lakh vadhaiyan!”The show will also welcome the cast of Bhoot Bangla and promos for the upcoming episode are already on-air. Rajpal Yadav and Wamiqa Gabbi will join the Laughter Chefs team. Samarth Jurel will be seen mimicking Rajpal Yadav’s famous character of Chhota Pandit and recreating the ‘paani’ scene. Laughter Chefs season 3 stars Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain, Krushna Abhishek-Kashmera Shah, Arjun Bijlani-Tejasswi Prakash, Karan Kundrra-Elvish Yadav, Aly Goni-Jannat Zubair, Abhishek Kumar-Samarth Jurel and Nia Sharma-Sudesh Lehri.
