In a twist of fate, Anupama stands up for Jaya, taking the heat for her decisions. Meanwhile, Digvijay is engulfed in sorrow over Saavi’s passing, his thoughts teetering on the edge of despair. Prerna’s world shatters as she discovers Gautam’s betrayal and confronts his menacing words. Leela and Hasmuk grapple with an unexpected hiccup in their podcast journey.
The episode opens with Anupama taking full responsibility for Jaya’s mistake. She tells Digvijay plainly that Jaya was wrong to take his diary and that she will make sure it never happens again.
But instead of just leaving it at an apology, Anupama goes a step further. She reminds Digvijay that he, too, has a daughter and asks him to find it in his heart to forgive Jaya the same way he would forgive her. Jaya herself admits she should not have touched the diary and even decides to punish herself. Digvijay softens and tells her not to repeat it.
Digvijay’s grief and a dangerous thought
What follows is one of the most heartbreaking parts of the episode. Anupama watches Digvijay and sees a father completely consumed by loss.
She reflects on how, when Anu walked away from Anuj, there was still hope of return, but with Digvijay, there is no such comfort. He reads through Saavi’s diary and finds her dream written in her own words, to open a café. He is shattered, wondering how he could ever make that dream come true when he has no cooking skills and no one to run it with warmth.
His grief then takes a very dark turn as Digvijay admits he no longer wants to hold on to life.
He wants to go where Saavi is. Anupama listens to every word and tells him quietly but firmly that one has to accept the pain and still choose to live. And in saying it to him, she says it to herself, too. She decides she will hold life’s hand even tighter.
Prerna’s dilemma and Gautam’s threat
Meanwhile, Prerna arrives early to meet Prem, and while waiting, she spots Gautam with another girl. It immediately becomes clear that Gautam is cheating on Mahi. Prerna is torn between staying out of it and doing the right thing.
She wants Prem to find out on his own rather than hear it from her. But things spiral quickly. Gautam’s girlfriend notices Prerna staring, and Gautam panics. He starts recording Prerna and Prem together and then corners Prerna with a threat, telling her that if she says a single word, he will show the video to Rahi and use it to claim that Prerna is still in love with Prem.
Prerna does not back down and says Rahi and Prem will never believe him.
She decides to walk right up to Prem and Rahi with Gautam. He lets her go for now, but makes it clear he is watching, convinced that one day he will prove what he thinks he knows.
Leela and Hasmuk’s podcast goes sideways
On a lighter but equally frustrating note, Leela and Hasmuk are seen interviewing a blogger for their podcast. Leela’s blunt questioning rubs the blogger the wrong way, and she ends up feeling insulted and walks out. Hasmuk tries to smooth things over in the moment but is clearly exasperated, reminding Leela that this podcast is their source of income and she cannot keep driving guests away.
A small moment of healing
Back at home, Anupama thanks Banku for bringing fresh vegetables when Jaya rushes in with a problem. She needs help finishing her homework but it has to be done in English, which Anupama admits she struggles with. Just as the situation feels stuck, Digvijay appears. Jaya looks up at him with pleading eyes and asks him to help her or she will be punished by her teacher. Something shifts in Digvijay. He sits down and helps her, speaking gently in a way that surprises even Banku, who says he has not seen Digvijay talk softly to a child in years.
Anupama watches quietly and thinks to herself that Digvijay needs to find a way to accept what happened and start living again.Elsewhere, Prem shows Rahi the invitation to his restaurant launch and her face lights up when she sees Anupama’s name on it. Prem says he never imagined his dream would actually come true. Rahi gives Prerna credit too, though Prem keeps it professional. Rahi falls asleep soon after and Prem sits beside her, missing the simple joy of going out together and spending time with her.
