Meanwhile, Vasundhara entrusts Pranshi’s care to Rahi, advising her to quit her job. Preet and Leela clash at the Shah house over Ansh’s responsibilities. Vasundhara obstructs Anupama’s plea for help to Rahi, leaving Anupama desperate.
Today’s episode of ‘Anupamaa’ begins with Bose saying they have to admit Jaya to the hospital. Anupama asks Bose what happened. Bose says Jaya was locked in the factory, which had been closed for many days, so she might have caught an infection.
Digvijay, Banku, and Anupama rush Jaya to the hospital.
Jaya’s condition worries everyone
The doctor tells Anupama that Jaya has a lung infection and asks her to arrange one lakh rupees for further treatment. Anupama is shocked. Digvijay thinks of Saavi, who went through a similar disease, and wonders how God can repeat the same thing. Banku cries for Jaya. Digvijay apologizes to Anupama that he has no money to help. Anupama says it is fine and asks God why He tests the poor.
She asks Jaya to wake up and tells Digvijay and Banku to stay with Jaya until she arranges the money.
Vasundhara gives Pranshi’s responsibility to Rahi
Vasundhara confronts Gautam about how he can trust rented people to take care of Pranshi and scolds him for taking Pranshi away from them. Rahi says their decision to file a case against Gautam was right. Prem says they were about to file the case, but Vasundhara found out and stopped them. Anil asks Vasundhara if she believes Gautam is wrong, and she nods yes.
Gautam admits it was his first mistake. Prem says Pranshi should be with Ansh.
Vasundhara says Pranshi has no connection with Ansh. She asks Rahi if she can take responsibility for Pranshi. Rahi agrees.

Vasundhara says a family can support, but only a mother can take responsibility and give Pranshi’s responsibility to Rahi.
Anupama struggles to arrange money
Anupama worries about arranging the money and feels dizzy, but encourages herself to save Jaya’s life. Digvijay recalls pleading with the doctor to save Saavi after her accident. Banku misses Jaya. Digvijay asks Banku to be strong and wonders how Anupama will arrange the money. Meanwhile, Digvijay tries to arrange money himself, saying he failed to save Saavi, but he will help Jaya.
Preet and Leela argue at the Shah house
Ansh asks Preet if she is going to Mumbai. Preet says she is going to an event and asks Ansh if he will come too. Ansh says someone has to take care of Hasmuk and Leela. Preet tells Ansh it is good that he thinks about his family, but sometimes he should think about himself, too. Leela blames Preet for instigating Ansh against his family. Preet and Leela argue. Ansh apologizes to Preet on Leela’s behalf. Preet says she has to bear Leela’s taunts if she wants to stay at the Shah house.
Vasundhara blocks Anupama’s call to Rahi
Anupama calls Rahi for help. Rahi gets busy with Pranshi. Vasundhara takes Anupama’s call instead. Anupama tells Vasundhara about Jaya’s condition. Vasundhara refuses to help and warns Anupama not to call Rahi again. She deletes Anupama’s call details and tells Rahi it was a wrong number. Anupama says she cannot ask Rahi for money as she is married now. She asks God to help her. The episode ends with Anupama spotting her chain
