‘Baywatch’ is perhaps one of the most popular American sitcoms to air on TV. The show was a major hit when it first started in 1989. Since then, there have been a lot of iterations of the show, along with a movie which starred names like Dwayne Johnson, Zach Efron, and Priyanka Chopra, to name a few.
Now, as the show is getting rebooted once more, here are some of the things that you should know about the brand new cast, along with which familiar names are planning to return.
All about ‘Baywatch’ new cast members
‘Baywatch’ is back, and here is all you need to know about the brand new cast list. The upcoming show, The Hollywood Reporter shared, will be led by Stephen Amell, who was also the first name to be announced as one of the official members of the reboot. The surf show will also feature names such as Shay Mitchell who is best known for her work in ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and ‘You’, as well as Jessica Belkin. Mitchell will play the role of a former lawyer who leaves her high-paying job to become a full-time lifeguard. Belkin will be playing the role of Amell’s Hobie Buchannon’s daughter, who shows up at her father’s doorstep, hoping to become a lifeguard at Baywatch.Livvy Dunne will be playing a recurring role of a junior lifeguard, along with Noah Beck, who will take on the role of a junior lifeguard. He comes from a family of firefighters; however, he dreams of becoming a good lifeguard rather than a firefighter.
Brooks Nader will also be joining the cast list as a Zuma Beach lifeguard who is connected to Arnell.Next up, Luke Eisner from ‘Tall Girl’ has also scored a place on ‘Baywatch’ and will be playing the role of a rookie lifeguard. ‘Dangerous Animals’ actress Hassie Harrison will be playing the role of a former foster kid who becomes an Olympic prodigy and is serious about her job as a lifeguard. Some of the other names that will be joining the cast include Nadia Gray, Charlie McElveen, Ashley Moore, Thaddeus LaGrone and Kylar Miranda.
Some old and beloved faces from the original series will also be making their return to the hit show that is set to release this year. David Chokachi will be reprising his role as Cody Madison, one of the senior lifeguards who also runs a bar and grill restaurant area on the beach. He is best known for ‘Witchblade’ and ‘Soul Surfer.’The official date of the show’s release has not yet been shared, however, it is said to possibly release by the second half of 2026.
