Panaji: With Class XII results declared on Saturday, directorate of higher education (DHE) will begin admissions from Monday for first-year courses across 34 colleges, offering around 20 programmes.
Officials said the entire process will be conducted online through a centralised digital platform.
The portal will remain open from March 23, 12 noon, to April 6, midnight, for the first round.Detailed information on courses, eligibility criteria, intake capacity, and admission guidelines will be available in the e-prospectus on respective college websites. “Students will be allowed to select up to five preferences, choosing different programmes across colleges based on their eligibility. Students whose Class XII results are awaited can apply. They may submit their results at a later stage,” official Mahadev Gawas said. Admissions to some programmes have been deferred, including B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., and B.A. LL.B.“Admissions to these courses will begin after declaration of NCTE-related eligibility/clearances and Goa University CLAT-related results.
