Karisma Kapoor reveals Neetu Kapoor fainted during wedding with Rishi Kapoor; Says, 'Everyone got afraid'

Neetu Kapoor, born Harneet Kaur on 8 July 1958, began her career as a child artist. She debuted in the swashbuckler film ‘Suraj’ in 1966. She played a dual role in the romantic comedy ‘Do Kaliyaan’ in 1968.Karisma Kapoor recently opened up about a lesser-known moment from her aunt Neetu Kapoor’s wedding. The actress shared the story on the singing reality show, ‘Indian Idol’ where she recalled how Neetu fainted right in the middle of the ceremony due to the huge crowd and star presence.

Her breakthrough came with Nasir Hussain’s ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’ in 1973. Neetu rose to prominence with lead roles in films like Deewaar. In 2012, she was inducted into the Walk of the Stars at Bandra Bandstand in Mumbai.Neetu Kapoor’s last film was the 2022 romantic comedy-drama ‘Jugj ugg Jeeyo’.
