The 52-year-old actress has alleged that Oscar-nominated actor Mark Ruffalo ignored her outreach after she claimed in a series of deleted social media comments that an agent fired her for liking a social media post about a ceasefire in Gaza.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the comments were deleted shortly after they were posted, appearing under a promotional Instagram video in which Ruffalo, 58, speaks about the new film ‘Palestine 36.’ According to Beckinsale, she was let go by her agent shortly after engaging with a post advocating for a ceasefire and condemning violence against civilians.

Beckinsale didn’t hold back while pointing out what she described as gender disparity in the industry.

Instead, she said she is simply observing a larger issue.
