Kendra Duggar sells belongings, turns house into a rental to obtain cash amid husband, Joseph Duggar’s, legal trouble

As Joseph Duggar navigates serious legal challenges, Kendra remains focused on safeguarding her children’s financial future. She has begun liquidating family assets and is repurposing their home into a rental unit to boost their income. The pressure of these urgent endeavors has understandably affected Kendra’s health, leaving her worn out.

As Joseph Duggar faces legal troubles, his wife, Kendra Duggar, is making sure her children are her “priority.” While her husband was in solitary confinement, Kendra was taking steps to stabilize the financial standing of her children.

As per reports, ‘The 19 Kids and Counting’ alum has listed some of the family’s belongings for sale and has moved out of the home to transform it into a rental property.

Kendra Duggar is building ways to bring in cash

According to People, shortly after Kendra’s release from jail on March 20, she and Joseph began discussing ways to bring in cash, as heard in the jail calls. Kendra also moved everything out of her family’s home as she and Joseph are preparing to offer it as a rental to bring in money.

Joseph Duggar discusses items they could sell

On March 25, the two discussed some of the items Kendra could sell. This included most of their trailers, their four-wheeler, a pressure washer, a waterproof tarp, and a wood splitter, among other things. During that same call, Kendra and Joseph discussed how rental properties would be advantageous to her by providing a steady stream of income for her and the children.

All the work is taking a toll on Kendra Duggar’s health

In her last phone call with Joseph before his extradition, she spoke about the toll all of this work had taken on her and her well-being.” If you could pray for my health because, I don’t know, I’ve just been really, really fatigued in the last two days,” Kendra told her husband. She said the previous day she “couldn’t move after moving the stuff downstairs” and described her body as “turning off like a weighted blanket.” Joseph told Kendra that he was surprised she managed to find the strength to carry out these tasks for as long as she did, which his wife then called “a miracle.

The couple will next appear in court on April 29 for the child welfare charges they’re facing in Arkansas.
