‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ opens with Mihir questioning Maharaj about why nobody informed him that Tulsi had gone to the hospital alone. Gayatri explains that Tulsi did not want to trouble anyone.
Mihir rushes to find her, but Tulsi walks in at the same moment and tells him she needs to speak to him about something personal. She wants to talk to him alone, but chooses to do it in front of the entire family. Mihir asks her what has happened. Tulsi tells him about Noina’s condition. Mihir immediately says Noina is lying. Tulsi tells him she has spoken to the doctor herself, and it is not a lie.
The request that shocks everyone
Gayatri feels Noina is being punished for her sins. Nandini cannot believe Noina’s audacity.
Tulsi reveals Noina’s last wish: she wants to die as a married woman with Mihir as her husband. The room goes completely still. Mihir tells everyone to end the conversation there. Vrinda tells the guard to go back to his post and not to worry about it, but the guard shows her a bedsheet, asking her to confirm that the person seen wearing it was her going outside.
