Actress Megha Sharma, who is currently seen in Saajan Ghar, says her idea of happiness has changed over time. It is no longer about big achievements or constant excitement. For her, it is much simpler now.“It’s about feeling at peace with yourself,” she says. In today’s fast-moving life, she feels people are always chasing something, whether it is success, money or a certain kind of perfection. In that process, they often forget to pause. “Sometimes I remind myself that I’m enough. That this moment is enough,” she adds. She believes happiness is usually found in everyday moments, not in big milestones. “For me spending time with family, having a quiet cup of chai, or just slowing down after a long day makes a difference.
Many times these small things often get overlooked, but for me such small moments matter a lot as it helps me to unwind.”Speaking about fitness, Megha says the meaning of it has also shifted for her. “Earlier, it was more about appearance but now I look at it differently. It’s more about how you feel. Whether you have the energy to get through your day, whether you feel mentally strong,” she explains. She prefers keeping her routine simple. Home-cooked food, in particular, is something she strongly believes in.
“We grew up with that. It kept us healthy,” she says. She also feels that people sometimes follow trends without really understanding what suits them. With long hours and increased screen time becoming a part of daily life, the actor suggests small, practical changes instead of anything extreme. “Taking short breaks, moving around during the day, or even keeping the phone away before sleeping can help a lot. Following such habits makes a big difference in your life and you will definitely see the results.”She also points out that rest is often ignored. “Sleep is very important, but people don’t take it seriously,” she says. According to her, lack of rest affects everything, from mood to overall health.Discipline, she says, matters more than motivation. “You won’t feel motivated every day. But if you are disciplined, you will still show up for yourself,” she explains. Her approach remains basic. Eating on time, sleeping properly and staying active. In the end, Megha comes back to what she believes matters most. Happiness is not something that comes later with big success. It is already present in small, everyday moments. “Don’t wait for something big to feel happy,” she says. “It’s already there. You just have to notice it.”
