Michal Kwiatkowski collided with another rider and was thrown off his bike. He then slammed into a road sign on the side of the road. The impact looked bad, and many watching feared the worst. After sharing the photo, Michal Kwiatkowski also explained what doctors found during his scans. His words were simple but powerful. He said, “If you wonder why I struggle to bend the leg, let me tell you what the MRI showed.”
He then described the injury in detail:“My right quad suffered severe muscle fiber damage with massive swelling spreading over 30cm, alongside a deep intramuscular hematoma and huge post-traumatic fluid collections trapped in the fascias stretching up to 24cm.”

Then he added a line that really stayed with fans:“I don’t know how a broken bone hurts, but this hurts like hell.”Earlier, from his hospital bed, he had already tried to calm people down by writing, “Bruised, not broken.”
