Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification
- For General, SC and OBC candidates: Must have passed Class 10 or Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognised board
- For ST candidates: Minimum Class 8 pass
Age limit (as on April 19, 2026)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 33 years for General category, 38 years for reserved categories (as per rules)
Physical standardsCandidates must meet the required physical measurements:
- Height: 168 cm (General/OBC/EWS), 165 cm (SC/ST)
- Chest (only for males): 81–86 cm (General/OBC/EWS), 79–84 cm (SC/ST)
No relaxation will be given in physical standards.
Selection process
The recruitment will be done in three stages:
- Skill Test (qualifying)
- Band Playing Test (75 marks)
- Interview (25 marks)
Candidates must know how to play at least one musical instrument from the given list.
Salary
Selected candidates will get a salary in the range of ₹19,500 to ₹62,000.
