In the last few hours, the former New England Patriots’ popular wide receiver, Stefon Diggs, has been linked to the Minnesota Vikings and the Baltimore Ravens.
CBS Sports Garrett Podell noted in a recent report how Stefon Diggs might be the perfect fit for the Minnesota Vikings amid his legal troubles.CBS Sports Garrett Podell wrote, “Diggs’ legal trouble is likely why he remains available…He pleaded not guilty to felony strangulation and other criminal charges following an alleged assault of his personal chef.
Diggs’ attorney, Mitchell Schuster, claims his client is ‘completely innocent.’”CBS Sports Garrett Podell added, “If Diggs’ legal process is resolved, a homecoming to the Minnesota Vikings makes plenty of sense.”He continued, “Jalen Nailor departed for the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency, so there’s an opening at Minnesota’s WR3 spot after 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Justin Jefferson and former first-round pick Jordan Addison.”
However, the Minnesota Vikings have stayed away from the speculations of reuniting with Stefon Diggs.Though Stefon Diggs recorded a strong performance in the 2025 season, his situation remains controversial as he remains a free agent.The former New England Patriots’ star player, Stefon Diggs, was released by the team last month even though he dominated the field with his impressive performance.In the last season, Stefon Diggs played in all 17 games of the season as he recorded 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns.Stefon Diggs then led the New England Patriots to Super Bowl LX as he recorded 14 receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown in the postseason.However, the New England Patriots faced a brutal loss against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX as Stefon Diggs was spotted exiting the field with tears in his eyes.A few weeks later, the team released Stefon Diggs as he continues to be involved in a messy legal fight with his former private chef, who accused him of physically assaulting her.Throughout the last season, Stefon Diggs also remained involved in other lawsuits with a few of his ex girlfriends and it seems, this could be a reason why he has yet to sign a deal.For now, all eyes are on where Stefon Diggs ends up ahead of the new season.
