Sony unveils April’s PlayStation Plus games: Lords of the Fallen, a challenging action RPG, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, offering classic adventures with modern touches, and Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, a 20-player co-op anime brawler. These titles, available to all PS Plus subscribers, promise a diverse gaming experience starting April 7.
Sony has confirmed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for April 2026, and it’s a solid three-game haul spanning action RPGs, a beloved classic revival, and a co-op anime brawler. All three titles go live on April 7 and stay claimable until May 4. Every PS Plus tier gets access.
Lords of the Fallen leads a lineup that rewards different kinds of players
Lords of the Fallen is the headliner—a Soulslike that earned an 8/10 from IGN for its dual-world mechanic, which lets players swap between the realm of the living and the dead mid-combat. It’s also well-timed: a sequel is reportedly on the way later this year, making this a good entry point.Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is the surprise inclusion. The collection packages Lara Croft’s original three PS1-era adventures—complete with all expansions and secret levels—with the option to toggle between remastered visuals and the original polygon look.
A new Challenge Mode adds replayability with modifiers and unlockable outfits. The game has had some recent controversy: fans called out AI-looking cosmetics added in a recent update, though publisher Aspyr denied using AI-generated assets and said the outfits were made by their own team. That backdrop makes its free PS Plus appearance oddly well-timed.
The co-op option rounds out a well-balanced month
Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream rounds out the trio. It’s a 20-player co-op action game pulling characters from across the SAO franchise, built around raid-style boss encounters. IGN hasn’t reviewed it, but it fills the multiplayer slot cleanly.March’s lineup—PGA Tour 2K25, Monster Hunter Rise, Slime Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road—exits on April 6.
