A cold email that didn’t land well
Dmitrii Kovanikov, a senior software developer, recently shared a screenshot of an email that didn’t sit right with him. The message came from an AI assistant named Jarvis, reaching out on behalf of Karan Vaidya, co-founder of Composio.The email introduced Composio’s work and invited Kovanikov for a quick call. A public response that caught attention
Instead of replying privately, Kovanikov chose to share his reaction on X.“If you don’t have the time to even write a cold email, I definitely won’t have time for a quick call,” he wrote.His post quickly picked up traction, with many people joining the conversation around AI-driven communication.
Mixed reactions online
The responses were divided. Some users were critical of using AI for outreach.“Should’ve not mentioned it’s AI. People think they’re smart in contacting via AI.
