Most recently, Sumana wrapped up shooting for Chheledhora, directed by Sheiladitya Moulik. “I play an important character in this film which is an Indo-American project. Working with Swastika Mukherjee in this project was a learning process. The film I heard will travel to major film festivals before its theatrical release,” said Sumana. She added, “The story of the film blends family drama, dark humor, and thriller elements. The film aims for both Indian audiences and the international festival circuit.

This emotional story focuses on broken parents who discover unexpected courage. I feel the story speaks to universal themes of healing and redemption which will connect with the audience.”
