Taylor Swift kept things composed during a night that could have easily turned tense. The pop star was among the many high-profile names at Paul McCartney concert at the Fonda Theatre, where her presence overlapped with former partner John Mayer. While the setting drew attention for obvious reasons, Swift appeared unfazed.
She spent the evening in good spirits, moving through familiar circles and avoiding any visible discomfort, even as fans quickly picked up on the unexpected guest list.
Travis Kelce avoids high-profile outing with Taylor Swift as unexpected twist raises relationship questions
Photos from the event showed Taylor Swift chatting and laughing with Olivia Rodrigo, a pairing that caught plenty of attention on its own. The two were seen leaving the venue together, mid-conversation, with Swift in a black dress and Rodrigo in yellow. The mood around Swift looked light, social, and carefully controlled.

There is no clear indication that the two crossed paths. Still, the possibility alone was enough to stir conversation online. Reports suggest Swift may have taken quiet steps to avoid any direct interaction, choosing distance over drama.
Noticeably absent from the evening was Travis Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs star, who has been a constant presence alongside Swift in recent appearances, did not attend the concert. Just days earlier, the couple had shared a very public moment at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where Swift picked up seven awards. Kelce was in the crowd, cheering, dancing, and celebrating with her, even sharing a kiss after one of her wins.
Swift also acknowledged him during her speech, adding a personal note to the night. His absence in Los Angeles, however, appears to have a simple explanation. Kelce was likely away on a golf trip with fellow NFL players, including George Kittle and others. Social media posts from the group showed them spending time at Bandon Dunes in Oregon, a well-known golf destination. The relaxed setting fits with Kelce’s known love for the sport. In a previous interview, Kelce spoke openly about what draws him to golf. He said, “The feeling you get when you hit that thing in your driver as far as you can … you feel it in your bones, man… It’s the best feeling in the world. I’ve got a few favorite spots in Kansas City. I don’t like to get political, but I’ll name three: The National, Loch Lloyd, and Wolf Creek.” He also added, “I’ll tell you what, conditions are important, (golf courses) have a beautiful botanic-esque, therapeutic kind of feel when you’re on a really, really nice course… Without a doubt.
”For Swift, the night in Los Angeles stayed focused on music and company, not headlines. Even with the potential for an awkward encounter, she moved through the evening on her own terms, calm and unbothered.
