Pascal Wehrlein recently tested the Porsche GEN4 car, and his fans were pleased to watch the video shared by the driver from his test drive. The Formula E GEN4 cars will be seen on track in Season 13 next year and are currently in the developmental stage.

The video came days after Wehrlein secured his third podium finish of the season. He continues to lead the championship, sitting on top of the Formula E Drivers’ Standings.

Pascal Wehrlein is impressed with the Porsche GEN4 car

Earlier this week, Pascal Wehrlein shared a video of his Porsche GEN4 test drive on Instagram. He captioned it: “Testing the new GEN4. She’s fast and I know exactly what I want to do with her.”His fans were impressed with the car’s pace and praised it on Instagram.

While Formula E’s official account reacted with lightning emojis, a comment from Cupra Kiro’s official page read: “Woah, she’s fast. Our test drive though? Faster. And in your mind.”

Reacting to it, a fan wrote: “Very excited for this. To see FE go from a car that back in Gen 1 was barely any quicker than an F4 car to this beast 10 years later is incredible.” Another commented: “This is crazy, what an evolution of the FE cars! Love the new chassis!” One more said: “To be honest, I really love this sound.”

“Omg, I really want to see this car live!” said another. A comment also read: “Wow, these things actually look fast.

Pascal Wehrlein is leading the Formula E championship this season

Pascal Wehrlein finished third in the recently held Madrid E-Prix. He once again lifted the trophy with his daughter by his side. He currently sits at the top of the Drivers’ Standings with 83 points.

Sharing a few pictures from the Round 6 race, he wrote on Instagram: “What a race! After three or four laps I thought it was over. But I kept pushing to stay as close as possible to the top three in case something happened and I could take advantage. And that’s exactly what happened in the final chicane. Normally, I’m not someone who gets super excited about P3. But with the circumstances we had today, I’m more than happy. Thanks to everyone in the @porsche.motorsport team and our partners for another strong weekend.

And well done to @circuito_jarama for an amazing first e-prix!”He will return to racing after a month-long break. Rounds 7 and 8 will take place in Berlin on 2 and 3 May.Also read: Pascal Wehrlein celebrates Madrid E-Prix podium with family, says “After three or four laps, I thought it was over”
